As a design/build remodeler, we are involved from design through execution, which eliminates unnecessary handoffs and communication breakdowns that could affect the process or the results. We do the coordination among all the parties leaving you free to focus on things more important to you

Brickwood is a licensed contractor. We utilize a select group of employees and subcontractors, who we know and trust, and that share our core values. In addition, Brickwood and its subcontractors are fully insured to protect you from liability or injury claims relating to the work site.

Brickwood is one of the few local NC Certified Lead Renovation Firms, which allows us to work on homes in NC built prior to 1978.

We obtain permits on all projects where required. Permits protect you by ensuring that work performed meets or exceeds building codes. Should you wish to sell your home, work meets required standards and makes the sales process move more smoothly.

We are mindful that we are guests in your home. We take extra care in setting up dust barriers and protection materials in order to protect your home and belongings.

At the completion of each project, you receive an “Owners Manual” that details pertinent information about the products and materials used, including paint colors and ongoing care and maintenance instructions.

All work performed by Brickwood carries a one-year limited warranty. We will gladly return to handle any issues regarding our workmanship.

We are committed to ongoing excellence. We maintain memberships in local and national organizations. Our industry changes rapidly and we spend time in both product and industry education in order to bring the best products and practices to our clients.

As a local company, we feel that one of our responsibilities is to contribute back to the community. Our volunteer efforts include Hospice, McIver Center, Price Park and Habitat for Humanity.
